      • The Boston-based Freisinger Chamber Orchestra began in June 2008, and has presented 23 concerts and 28 full-scale orchestral readings. Strings (15) and winds (7-15) are mostly graduate students and alumni from New England Conservatory, Boston University, the Longy School of Music, and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Concerts also feature young singers in repertoire from opera to Broadway, accompanied by the conductor at the piano. Living composers discuss their pieces after premieres.

The FCO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you wish to be added to the email list or contribute, please Contact Us!

Thanks to all who have participated in concerts of the Freisinger Chamber Orchestra, and welcome to our new audience members!

        Sincerely,
        Peter Freisinger, Conductor
